On the lookout for interesting projects...

Just been for a climb over at Oakwood Climbing Centre (hence the chalky jeans...) and I'm pondering what interesting projects looks like to me.

As you may have seen I'm focussing on the areas where I have most experience, Business Intelligence, Technology Strategy and Outsourcing Consultancy. I'll be posting on the latter two in the future, but lets focus on BI...

What I love about BI is uncovering new insights that provoke 'wow!' reactions and lead to real change in an organisation. Pulling data in from various different systems, sometimes having to come up with really innovative ways to extract it, understanding the business processes that created it, and then presenting it back in a format that works for different people in the organisation.
